On Easter Sunday, Kuranda will host the inaugural Great Easter Egg Drop, showering people visiting the Village in the Rainforest with thousands of Easter eggs.
It will literally be raining chocolate eggs – the Easter Bunny is said to be up on a raised mobile platform, dropping hundreds of eggs every hour throughout the day.
Easter in the Park has free activities for the whole family including a giant Easter egg hunt, live bands, buskers and plenty of games for the kids.
The Kuranda Easter Celebration will be on March 31, at Centenary Park in Kuranda.
